Let’s unlock the doors to home accessibility together!
Phase 2 participation is now open for up to 350 people age 18 years and older living with spinal cord injury from cross Canada.
Participation involves completing a set of online or telephone surveys that take about 45 minutes to complete. The questions include general demographic information and questions on housing satisfaction, health conditions, accessibility barriers, and quality of life.
Phase 2 recruitment opened in December 2024 and will remain open until target numbers are reached. Use the contact form below to contact a research staff member and see if you are eligible. Although it is not anticipated, participant recruitment may close at any time or for any reason at the discretion of the primary investigator.

We aim to make the Home Accessibility Toolkit free and widely available to support the spinal cord injury community.
We aim to publish the study results and make study materials and de-identified study data available to support research and knowledge transfer on accessible house for people living with disability.
